THE ALTERNATIVE MEDIA V’S THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA.
There is a lot of talk about the Alternative media verses the Mainstream media, but what really is the difference?
Bill Maloney, the film director from Pie’n’Mash films and a prominent campaigner against institutionalized child abuse, says that the alternative media and mainstream media are working together to expose paedophiles in government, so what actually is the difference and how do they actually differ?

The Golden Cube by Matt TaylorA cross between Dan Brown and Ben Elton with a healthy splash of David Icke. Imagine a world where space travel, cellular regeneration, perfect engines, space travel, aliens, reincarnation and a host of other marvels are common place, but no-one but an elite few know about them. Amongst these elite few are God, Satan and group militaristic human Illuminati who are constantly playing a game with Satan over how the world is ordered. Leonardo “Bingo” Ashman, a small time political activist eking out an existence in Brighton, lives in such a world, and who knows, maybe we do too. What he doesn’t know is he is very special and when he comes into possession of the Golden Cube, he is cast into a new and strange world with his travelling companion, a cellularly regenerated Queen Elizabeth II. The adventure leads them all over Western Europe and eventually to the Scottish Isles where the fate of all mankind rests in his hands. Matt Taylor needs to be signed up by a publisher. Quickly.

A great turn out of people, young and old – and even a couple from Kent – came and had a look at just how the Bevy has been transformed. The tables and chairs we got cheap from a closed down cafe gave the place a real lift. We had tea and biscuits and even a workable loo. And during our tours we all loved showing off the sliding doors that close the cafe from the pub area. The feedback was fantastic and it was great to see so many locals excited about the Bevy opening again four years after it was shut. One of the old regulars told us “Moulsecoomb isn’t Moulsecoomb without a pub.” Another said how he now drinks in Lewes but would love somewhere to meet his neighbours again. Another lady donated a big bottle of whiskey for a raffle prize. And you know that there are places like Moulsecoomb and Bevendean all over the country that are crying out for their locals to be re-opened and re-invented so that communities can become better places where people get the chance to meet each other. All of which makes us more determined than ever to open as soon as we can. There’s just the small matter or raising another £50,000, so we can amongst other things, kit out the kitchen, fit and stock the bar, put in the cellar and build the pub garden. We have a few plans up our sleeves but are also relying on ordinary people to help us out. So buy some shares and be part of something unique. As well as getting occasional discounts, a chance to vote for the management committee, you will be invited to our monthly beer tasting evenings, where you will get to choose some of the ale for sale in the pub. And if you want to lend a practical hand we will be decorating every Tuesday and Thursday between 7-9pm over the next few weeks and would really appreciate your help. We will also be issuing share certificates in the next few weeks. BUY YOUR BEVY SHARES NOW. http://www.thebevy.co.uk/sharetool/index.php?route=product/product&path=59&product_id=50 CHEERS! SIMON KIRBY SECURES VITAL HOSPITAL FUNDING.
May 1, 2014 · by Matt Taylor for Brighton Kemptown 2015 · in Brighton Politics, Simon Kirby MP for Brighton Kemptown, is riding high on the crest of success, with the news that the Royal Sussex County Hospital will receive the vital £420 million funding it needs for its major re-development. Posting on his campaign website, Simon Kirby is said to be “delighted” at the news. Simon said: “Today’s announcement is great news for local people. Huge congratulations must go to the team at the Royal Sussex who worked so hard to put forward such a compelling case. It is only right that patients and staff will now have the very best facilities they deserve.” Having started his own petition and work tirelessly by lobbying ministers including George Osborne, Jeremy Hunt and Oliver Letwin, Simon Kirby isn’t being shy in coming forward and accepting the credit. “I have been actively campaigning for a long time now for the £420 million funding to redevelop the Royal Sussex Hospital and would thank everyone who supported my campaign and took the time to sign my hospital petition, which I am sure made a real difference,” he said. The Chancellor George Osborne, will today announce that the Government has given the green light and redevelopment of the Royal Sussex County Hospital in the Kemptown & Peacehaven constituency will proceed. Pressing home his involvement in the decision, Simon hopes that this won’t be forgotten by the time the election comes around next year. Justifying the time it took for the government to release the funds, as they had promised to do, Simon continued: “It is right and proper that there was detailed scrutiny before the Government committed such a huge amount of money, but through my repeated efforts I left the Chancellor, Prime Minister and Health Secretary in no doubt as to the importance of this money for patients and staff here in Brighton Kemptown and Peacehaven.” While Nancy Platts, the labour candidate for Brighton Kemptown in 2015 has yet to comment on the news, Matt Taylor, the favourite to take over as MP from Simon Kirby, is said to also be “delighted” over the news, and congratulates Simon on his involvement in securing the vital funds to ensure Brighton has a hospital fit for purpose. SURREY POLICE RESCUE SUSSEX POLICE.
April 30, 2014 · by Matt Taylor for Brighton Kemptown 2015 · in Brighton Politics, Crisis at Sussex Police has been averted by Surrey Police stepping in and taking over. At Katy Bourne’s monthly Performance and Accountability meeting (April 24th) Stuart Cundy, the Assistant Chief Constable of Surrey Police, sat beside the embattled acting Chief Constable Giles York, and effectively took over the proceedings. Following the months since Martin Richard’s early retirement scandal was made public, exclusively by the Shadow Sussex Police and Crime Commissioner Office, Sussex Police have stumbled from one disaster to another. Read more: News Blackout in Sussex. Having slipped further down the performance table under the flawed leadership of their ex Chief Constable Martin Richard, Sussex Police already collaborate with Surrey Police in the following areas: • Major crime • Forensics • Firearms • Procurement • Fleet • Insurance • Risk management Whilst the PR machine insists the aim of collaboration is to ensure that high quality policing services against a diminishing budget are maintained, the truth appears to be even more serious. SUSSEX POLICE ISN’T FIT FOR PURPOSE. This damning verdict seems to be leveled against Sussex Police on what seems to be a daily basis. The most recent example of Sussex Police’s incompetence was demonstrated over the weekend, with the March for England protests in Brighton on Sunday 27 April 2014. Reported by Brighton’s Evening Argus, Sussex Police chiefs said they are unable to ban the annual March for England because there is not enough widespread disorder. A truly remarkable statement to make concerning the following: • There were 27 Arrests • It cost £500,000 to police • Running battles in the city centre • Widespread damage to businesses and personal property • Terrified witnesses including young children • With around 150 nationalists and 1,000 anti-fascists, Brighton was brought to a stand-still and suffered violent disorder not seen since the last March for England protest. While a 38 Degree petition was launched to stop the March for England from happening again, local Council leaders were quick to condemn the violence but slow to call for the march to be banned.
